For the Love of Blank: click here Instagrams -For the Love of Blank -Brittany L -Jordyn Hey there! My name is Brittany and I am one half of the blog For The Love Of Blank! We write about food, wine, travel, and lifestyle. I recently got engaged and have started planning my wedding! I absolutely love to travel. I will jump at any excuse to visit a new place. When not traveling I try to go on mini-adventures in my hometown. I love to kayak, paddleboard, hike, or bike! One thing that I have had to learn as I got older is to fully enjoy the city that I live in! In college I did not take advantage of where I was living and I never explored. Now, I moved back to my hometown and I have learned to explore this town as if it is brand new! Well, if you have any advice on planning a wedding feel free to send them my way! Also, any travel recommendations are always welcome! I hope you enjoy these drinks as much as I do! Pina Colada PUnch BowlThis is seriously one of the easiest mixed drinks to make. And it is sure to please everyone at your party or get together! Yield 10 - 12 servings Ingredients: 5 cups coconut milk 2 cups Vodka 1 cup rum (white or dark to preference) 1 cup Pineapple Juice 2 cups chopped fresh pineapple (Frozen) Raw honey to taste (optional) How to: Pour Vodka and Rum into a punch bowl Stir in coconut milk & pineapple juice Add frozen chopped pineapple (It’s like ice cubes!) Put bowl in refrigerator and let chill for 30 minutes Once chilled taste and add honey as needed *Or leave honey next to bowl for guests to add to their liking! Mimosa SunriseI am a firm believer that mimosas are for every occasion. But sometimes they need a little something extra to make them pop! Yields 1 mimosa Ingredients: 4 oz champagne 2 oz orange juice 1 oz lemon juice .5 oz grenadine How to: Mix orange juice and lemon juice Pour in Champagne Slowly pour grenadine on top *Pour over the bottom of a spoon if you want it to look extra pretty! Add a lemon or orange slice to the side of the glass if you are feeling fancy Mango MargaritasYou can’t go wrong with a fruity margarita! It tastes like springtime and is the perfect drink to sip on while laying on your patio! Yeild 2 – 3 Margaritas Ingredients: 6 shots Mango Juice (or other flavor) 2 shot Real Lime Juice 4 shot Any brand silver tequila 2 shot Triple Sec Crushed ice Sugar Sliced limes Directions: Pour all the ingredients over the crushed ice in a shaker *If you do not have a shaker, a large mason jar with a lid with work Use the inside part of the lid to strain the ice Pour some sugar on a plate, then run a slice of lime around the rim of your glass Next roll glass rim into sugar on a plate Fill your glass with more crushed ice, and strain the margarita into the glass Garnish with a lime and enjoy! Peach Black Iced TeaI could drink this tea year round but it always puts me in the mood to be outside! Yields 18-22 servings Ingredients: 2 quarts black iced tea 4 quarts peach iced tea 2 quarts lemonade Sweetener of your choice How to: I like to set this up as a do it yourself bar at bbqs but you could do this as one large mixture as well and get the same ratio! To brew the teas boil 1 quart water and steep 8-10 tea bags for 5 minutes Then add hot tea to 1 quart cold water (Double both steps for Peach Tea) Pour teas and lemonade into their own pitchers Fill cup with ice and add ½ peach tea, ¼ black tea, ¼ lemonade Add sweetener as needed Easiest Iced Latte EVER!!I am kind of cheating with this recipe since it really only has two ingredients. But I feel like everyone should know about it! Ingredients: 5 oz brewed espresso (Or strong coffee) 1 Premier Protein Shake How to: Brew 5 oz espresso or extra strength coffee in the method of your choosing. (I use my Keurig) Fil 20 oz cup full of ice Pour in coffee and one Premier Protein Shake (Any flavor, but I prefer chocolate) Stir and enjoy! Thank you so much for checking out and reading this blog post with our special guest Brittany! Thank you Brittany for joining me on this blog post and thanks for being a fun, awesome friend!
