Dear 2019 and Hello 2020...

Picture
Hello everyone! Long time no see. Lots of things have happened the past couple of months that set me back on my blog. I officially finished my undergrad and am more than ready to walk in graduation in the spring! I want to come back in 2020 with new ideas and content!

In this post, I will recap what happened in the last year and what's to come this year in 2020.

I spent time with my family and am very grateful my immediate family is here and relatives are all close by. We celebrated birthdays and life events together and it meant a lot to me. You never know when life throws you curve balls and your loved ones won't be around.

Days with my best friends. Many of my best friends do not live close to me, so seeing them even once a year means a lot to me. I hung out with two of them pretty frequently together this year and went to Coachella together for the first time and had a blast. I went to concerts with some of them and danced so much! I visited many of them during the summer and caught up. I met them at Disneyland and ate so much! My friends mean so much to me and always am there for them.

I finished my undergraduate at California State University, Fullerton in the fall. I am receiving my undergrad in Child and Adolescent Development with a focus in elementary setting. However, I still have a couple years left of my education because of wanting to obtain my teaching credential. I am very grateful to have continued to learn and attend college and to learn and have more experience in working with children and schools.  One of my new year's goals this year is to work in an elementary school to start my career path. This is what I want to do as a career and it makes me excited to see what's ahead for me in the future.

I competed in my first Spartan Race this fall and it was unreal. It challenged me so much and it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I completed it with my dad and he definitely gave me all the support to do it. The race was COLD and I honestly couldn't believe some of the obstacles I completed, like walking through a river and going underneath a water barrier. But I did it and happy I did. Onto more this year....maybe. 😉

The Jonas Brothers reunited and came back better than EVER. This definitely made my year to be honest. They were my favorite music artist when I was younger and was shocked when I found out that they were coming back together. I saw them about 5 times in 2019 and went to their first TV performance when they debuted Sucker and that was insane to see them together!
Their Happiness Begins tour was INSANE and amazing to see! I've already talked about their tour in a blog post after I saw it so go check it out on my blog! Honestly meeting them as well has been on my bucket list and the boys were so sweet and kind when meeting them.

Cant wait to see what's in store for them in 2020!! Already What a Man Gotta Do is definitely amazing and the music video is the best!

In 2020, I want to grow and change in many aspects of my life. There are a lot of new changes happening this year that excites and scares me, but that's what life is supposed to do to you. This year already has given me changes that are good and bad and happiness! I'm excited for whats to come, for example happiness in a new, amazing relationship, friendships, a career change, trying new things, and doing things that brings me happiness. When trying new things, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and fulfilling my life. I don't know what the end of 2020 looks like but I am excited for what's to come.

Stay tuned!

I want this year to be my best, but it is not working for me. I have tons of things that I need to do, and it is just impossible for me to do it. I know that this is not all the universe's fault, but it has been totally hard. There is nothing that is going my way, but I know that I still need to do it. If you want to go and comfort me, I would love that.
