Hi friends! I had the best time at D23 Expo this summer!! This was my third one since moving to California and it's so fun and exciting to be at! It's held at the Anaheim Convention center that is right next to the Disneyland Resort. This is the only official Disney expo convention that is held for Disney fans around the world and is held every other year.
I quickly came up with my Disneybound costume for this year's expo and of course it was my favorite girl, Rapunzel!
Dress: H&M (similar)
Ears: unknown shop
Pascal stuffed plush: Disney (Amazon)
Rapunzel purse: Danielle Nicole (Amazon)
Lines, Lines, Lines
Be prepared to stand in many and I do mean many lines at the convention!!! Lines can take up to an hour for stores and LONG hours for the large panels. I would get to the convention early in the morning for admission.
You can now make reservations online on the D23 expo website with your badge code for panels, meet and greets, and other experiences! I used this advantage for the Disney + panel and luckily got it! It is a cut throat competition the day the reservations are released so act fast when they go up!
The 4 shops are so cool and have a bunch of exclusive Merch. However, you have to wait in line to go into the store. For Mickey of Glendale that has exclusive D23 film and parks Merch by imagineers, that line was an hour. For Dream Store that has the exclusive D23 Merch that says D23 was about a 30 minute wait, but it varies. I didn't stand in the other two lines for the Disney Store that had toys and Hollywood Studio that sold various items, but those two lines looked long as well!
Disney+ is Disney's brand new streaming service to compete with other streaming services like Netflix and Hulu and it will show new content and originals from Disney! New series and movies, all the animated classics, all Pixar films, Disney Channel shows and DCOMs, National Geographic films, and documentaries! I am beyond excited for Disney + to come out this November and they are apparently releasing something new to the streaming service (actually new content and originally made content) every week for a couple of years! SO MUCH IS GOING ON IN DISNEY+!!!
Disney+ will be $7 a month on its own and can be purchased with Hulu and ESPN+!
These are all of the Disney Channel series and DCOMs coming to Disney+!

It's about Lizzie turning 30 and having a nice life in New York and still having her 13 year old cartoon character in her head
Marvel Studios was a big deal, as usual, at D23!! There were lots of announcements for Marvel at Disney + streaming service and they definitely showcased those series and movies. There was one large area for Marvel that showed costumes from Avengers films an they were so cool! They also held small panels with Marvel Studios creators.
Of course there was an area for Star Wars at D23 and they showed a lot of the storm troopers uniforms and t
Epcot in Walt Disney World is getting new areas in their park and new branding of Epcot. This means, they are adding new attractions like Moana and Mary Poppins!
