It's spooky time at Disneyland again!! Disneyland just started Halloween/fall time at the parks on September 7 and it looks amazing, as always! There's even more treats this year than last year, which is crazy to think about because there was a HUGE amount last year!! I heard the lines to get into the parks was so long because everyone wants to go in now to see everything, like the treats and food. Eating at Disneyland is always my favorite, but can be expensive in the end. I try to splurge during the holidays because that's when they really have the best options and more unique food options. Here is a wrap up of my favorites that I've seen and some that I've tried at Halloween time at Disneyland! Happy fall ghouls!👻
There is such. huge abundance of churros at the parks right now! I'm surprised they haven't really thought of doing different flavors of this popular treat until about two years ago! The new flavors are Orange Sugar with candy corn sauce (Frontierland), Pumpkin Spice (New Orleans and Car's Cozy Cone in Cars Land), 'Maleficient' cookie crumbles and purple sprinkles (Fantasyland), and Sour Apple (Tomorrowland), and S'mores (Grizzly Bear Rapids). I tried the Orange sprinkle with candy corn recently! It tasted like a normal, crunchy churro and I dipped it into the marshmallow dip with candy corn syrup like at the bottom and 3 candy corns inside. Really good, but wanted more of a candy corn flavor to the dip, mainly tasted marshmallow, satisfied though!
Such a basic food treat at Disneyland, but they're extra cute during fall time because of the different themed ones, like Evil Queen, Minnie that's a witch, poison apple, and Jack Skellington! **Just to let you know, they can't cut the apples for you at the parks when purchasing so I just wait to eat mine until I get home. All these treats can be found at the confectionary stores in Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney! The most popular ones are the Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen on Main Street USA (Disneyland), Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street (California Adventure), and Marceline's Confectionary (Downtown Disney). PLUS, you can use your Annual Passholder discount on at these places!!
Cute Rice Krispee treats and Cupcakes
One of my favorite desserts anytime at Disneyland, but the pumpkin ones are BOMB!!! Get them with all the powder sugar on them! Found at the Mint Julep in New Orleans by the train station and Haunt Mansion!
At Jolly Holiday
-Sweet Potato Hand Pie (NEED TO TRY THIS ASAP)
-Spice Bundt Cake
-Cruella D'Vil Brownie
-Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake (pictured above). Super good and tasted just like a pumpkin cheesecake, but with no crush on the bottom or side! Maybe so it doesn't get soggy when being sit out? Very tasty!!
Mickey Bat Raspberry ICe Cream SUndae
I shared this last year with friends and it was so so good! I love raspberry-white chocolate ice cream and raspberry sauce and the purple sprinkled waffle cone on the outside! (Clarabelle's Ice Cream in DCA). Super good and great to share with two or three people! Favorite part is the chocolate cone and the raspberry-white chocolate ice cream scoops.
Carmel Apple Smoothie
I've been wanting to try this since last year so hoping to try it this year! Love the Carmel drizzle!! (Schmoozies in DCA)
Pumpkin SPice chocolate Covered Pretzels
Found in the confectionery stores in Disneyland and California Adventure.
I got this last year and it was really sweet! It's a marshmallow filled macaroon with candy corns in the filling! Found at the Cozy Cone in Cars Land in California Adventure. Again, I love candy corn so I had to try it! Might not get it this year, so I can try other treats!
There you go friends, now go get yourself a treat at Disneyland this fall/Halloween time! Now until October 31st!
