Hello friends! Today I'm here to talk about some of my favorite things: Jonas Brothers, music, and concerts! Yes I am going to dish about the Jonas Brothers' current tour, the Happiness Begins tour! I saw them twice in one weekend in October and the first night was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. And I'm not overexagerating! The band recently got back together this year to the public and shocked their fans and the world, including me! I was OVER THE MOON about their comeback and new music that was released AND them going on tour!!! I've been a HUGE fan since they released YEAR 3000 in the 2000s on Disney Channel! Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas mean the world to me and so many fans and we are ecstatic that they are back together with new music and content! These boys this past year have been EXTREMELY busy!! With a new album out, a new album being made right now to be released sometime, a new Christmas single coming out on November 8th, an autobiography novel to be released next March, being apart of the NBC show Songland, AND being on tour until February! Not to mention, 2 of them are newly married and 1 has a family of two daughters!!! ALSO, they each do their own thing like Nick coming out with a premium tequila alcohol line called Villa One and acting in films. So, YES...they are busy. So this tour is all about their throwbacks and their new sound! Honestly 1/3 of the setlist is their new songs from their new album Happiness Begins and the rest are throwbacks, DNCE, and Nick's solo career! I feel like for doing a comeback tour thats a good mix! Honestly, this concert is one of the most put together, thoughtful concert tour I've seen in awhile! You can tell this tour is for the fans. The tour consists of about 30 songs and have mashups of songs and also do a FAN request. More on that later, but that's a lot of fans' favorite part. The tour has 2 openers: Mikey Deleasa, Kevin's brother in law, who's a DJ, artist Jordan McGraw, Dr. Phil's son, and Bebe Rexa! Both do a great job during their sets and hype the audience up! The tour has about 80 tour stops from August 2019 until February 2020 ranging from North America, the Bahamas, and Europe! The StageThe stage setup for this tour is large!! It stretches all the way to the side seats right next to the fans and yes the boys do go over there! The stage has a large screen behind the stage for concept videos and seeing the performers. Also, can we take a second to appreciate the concept videos for the different parts of the show?! The tour is about finding happiness in yourself and from your childhood and it shows younger versions of the boys played by child actors, then they reunite with Nick, Joe, and Kevin halfway through and also Kevin's ADORABLE daughters Alena and Valentina are featured in a video with their dad 😍SO SWEET!!!! Also, there are two sections at he front for general pit and thats the best!!!! There's a section on Kevin's side (stage right) and Nick's side (stage left)! At my first show in Salt Lake City, Utah, my 2 best friends and I were in the front row for the pit and there were still so much room to dance and go crazy! I've been to other concerts in the pit and did not have any room at all and were squished! So I think it depends where you're seeing the artist like the city and hope for the best! I heard their shows at shows in California like Anaheim and Los Angeles were crammed in the pit! But still the pit is so fun to be in and be super close to the boys! There's also a second stage at the back of the arena that's in a shape of a circle and rises up high when they perform. Very cool and it's great for the fan to see them too closer and not just at one stage. At the B stage (second stage), you may get seats called the B stage seats when're you either stand at the stage or sit at tall high top tables for the show. If you get these seats then you can get a free drink pass because you're technically sitting by the bar they set up for the show! It's done by the company Lane One and they are accommodating and want to give fans a great experience! Fans can stand right next to the rotating B stage, hold signs, can take shots with the boys at one point of the show, and can get Joe's Tamborine after they sing their mashup! I think it sounds like a super cool experience to be over there and have an immersive experience! The brothers get to this B stage by walking through the floor seats crowd through barricades! Tickets can sell up to $500 for the barricade seats for a chance to touch their hands and seeing them very up close when they walk through the barricades 4 times during the show. For my second show in Anaheim, I had seats in the lower section and pretty close to the B stage and still got to really see the boys and their stage there! I feel like the lower sections is a great spot to see this show so you can also see the B stage really well from your spot! Their OutfitsSo usually for high budget tours, the artists usually stick to the same costumes and outfits for consistency and Jonas Brothers are basically doing that for this tour! They just finished their first leg of their tour and they have two different outfits colors for their bright suits and two different choices for their black and white outfits the other half of the show. When I saw them between 4 days of each other, they wore the same colored suits as the first show and semi similar outfits for the black and white ones, except Joe wearing a black glitter jacket! I liked the variety of the outfits so I hope they change their outfit colors for this other half of the tour! They look SMOKIN either way 😍 THe SetlistTHE SETLIST IS EVERYTHING. Like I said earlier, they have a great mix between throwback songs and their songs from their new album! My favorite new song they sing live is Rollercoaster because it's my favorite, it's what they open with, and it's the perfect hype song for the audience to start the show off! The energy in the room is INSANE. Everyone is there for them and their reactions are the BEST seeing them at the beginning of the show! You can also tell that the boys are super pumped at the beginning of the show when they come down for Rollercoaster!! Ugh amazing *chef's kiss*. FAN REQUEST: Okay so this is most of the fans' favorite part of the show because the Jonas Brothers go to the B stage and during their set they ask for the fans to shout out what song they would like for them to sing that they haven't done yet in the show so far. This is when fans hold up their signs saying song titles for their request and the boys look around and choose one! There's a rumor that Joe said they were not going to do any repeats for the request song, but that definitely has happened!! For instance, some songs they have done multiple times were Just Friends, Introducing Me, Can't Have You, Runaway, Please Be Mine, and Jersey! Some of my favorites live at the show were Fly with Me because it's my favorite song of theirs ever but Only Human and Lovebug were really cool live!! With the fireworks and the boys just jamming!! They love seeing everyone sing the lyrics loud! Meet and Greet ExperienceTHIS WAS EVERYTHING!!! I've always wanted to meet the Jonas Brothers since I was young and really wanted to make it happen this time around and wanted it to feel like a once in a lifetime opportunity! And it was the BEST! I met a group of sweet girls in line and that made it even better! I heard meeting them can be however long you want it to be, whether it's just a quick hi, take a picture, bye situation or actually have a conversation with them and take time with them! I told them how much they meant to me growing up enjoying their music (yes cheesy but I don't care) and we talked about Disneyland! They were so nice and have gorgeous faces and eyes 😍 hahaha. Of course I hugged all of them and JUMPED FOR JOY after I left the curtain area! Each meet and greet gets a bag from the tour with a signed poster, a badge, and patches! I ended up making a collage with my poster and photos and I'm actually surprised how cool it turned out! Meeting them was definitely an add on but it was definitely worth it!! The MerchThe merchandise is so cute this tour! The Happiness Begins tour has a theme to it to neon, bright colors, and graphic design. They have t-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shot glasses, pop sockets, posters, pins, and bags! The merchandise is pretty expensive: $40 for t-shirts and around $70 for jackets. Some of the merchandise are throwbacks and old merchandise with younger faces of the boys on there and they are hilarious!! HOWEVER. the merchandise lines are SOOOOO LONG!!! So I would either get to the venue very early to get inline right when you get inside at doors open or when they play their last song of the show and head out early to get inline for merch! I did at my second show and I was next inline so I think it was definitely worth it!!! Also, you can get some of their merch online on their website and on merchbar.com! Jonas Brothers store site Merch Bar- Jonas Brothers the collage I made 😍 Jonas Brothers Happiness Begins Tour Tickets Honestly, seeing the Jonas Brothers live after so many years was the best and so nostalgic. It was a very hype and FUN concert to be at with friends and loved ones and even by yourself! The Jonas Brothers are promoting the tour a lot and it's definitely worth going if you were and still are Jonas Brothers fans! xo
