6/17/2018 0 Comments Top Favorite ConcertsHey everyone! You might have known this about me, but one of my favorite things to do is going to concerts and seeing my favorite artists live! I've been doing it ever since I was super young rocking out in a jumper at a Sesame Street concert with Big Bird! Nothing beats the overwhelming feeling of seeing your favorite artist for the first time and listening to them sing your favorite song of theirs live with all the high energy in the room. I'm so grateful for all of the opportunities I've had seeing my favorite artists. The best thing about concerts is that concerts can be so small or so large as in audience wise. If you want to see the big name artists like Beyonce or Ed Sheehan, they are going to play at the very large stadium shows, where as in some lesser known artists they may play in a pub or small event center. BOTH ARE OKAY. Both have pros and cons. It shouldn't matter though where you see your favorite artist, as long you see them and have the best time. Also, concerts should not be a place to scared and afraid. With the current events in the world, people are feared to go to these events, so it is so sad for people, including myself, to think and feel like something could happen to them and others if they go to concerts. Fear shouldn't rule your life and your hobbies. On that note, let's be EXCITED to go to these shows because there's SO many tours happening this year and my concert list is sooo long this year! Sorry bank account... This list is me ranking my favorite, memorable concerts that I've ever been to and experienced. If you personally don't like these artists that I'm going to list off, then sorry about it..but not really because this is my opinion heheh. Enjoy! Beyonce Formation TOur 2016Yes, I am definitely a Beyonce fan and I have no shame. She is a FANTASTIC performer and she put on an amazing tour for her Lemonade album and her top boppin songs! My mom and I had so much fun at her show because all we did was sing and dance our booties off the whole time! Imagine Dragons Evolve Tour Shows- Hollywood Bowl and Honda Center 2017I am definitely a stan of Imagine Dragons. I've been to all of their tours and been to a few small shows of theirs. This tour is so good as in their message about equality and love for all, their lighting, setlist choice, and energy. I've seen Imagine Dragons multiple times and they've always had the best energy! I always look forward seeing them perform live. Lady Gaga- Joanne World Tour 2017GAGA IS AMAZING. My mom and I have always wanted to see her live and I had the privilege of seeing her three times in 2017!!! I really couldn't believe myself. First time I saw her was at Coachella when she headlined and I nearly cried...(if you know me, you know I'm a crier at concerts). Gaga was so so good on her tour. She performed all of her hits and some from her newest album, Joanne. My favorite songs she performed were Bad Romance, John Wayne, and Schiebe. She always gives her support to the LBGTQ community and the crowd loves it. She then sings Born This Way and it is a bop!! She is a powerhouse on stage! Adele- Adele Tour 2016This concert was incredibly moving and beautiful. Not a lot of special effects, simple lighting and staging, and her vocals were perfect. Adele was beautiful and her concert was so great to just relax and enjoy. She performed her ballads, bops, and new songs from the 25 album. The ages at the concert varied from young to old and I love that her music reaches to all. It can be emotional listening to her songs live, especially 'Make You Feel My Love' and 'When We Were Young'. My mom was really looking forward to seeing Adele and I'm so glad I got go with her! Justin Bieber- Purpose Tour 2017Of course I gotta include my hubby in this list ;) This concert was soooo fun!! I miss him and I wish he continued with his epic stadium tour after this leg of his tour! Sia Tour 2016This show!!! You guys, Sia did soooo good creating this tour! The dancers and artistic side of the show were amazing and beautiful. So much story telling in the songs and looked so clean. Sia's vocals were outstanding as well, my cousin and I have always wanted to see her live. Upcoming concerts I'll be going to or hoping to this summer!
Concerts are the best past time and event to go to. I suggest it to anyone. Even if you're not fond of crowds, you should go to a. concert that would cater to you and what you feel comfortable with. There are so many types of concerts to go to with genre and crowd/place type. Concerts should be a fun place to be and enjoy yourself and the music! xo
