The happiest place on earth is honestly one of my favorite places to go to, shocking right? Believe it or not though, I sometimes do have trouble figuring out what I want to wear that day. It depends how long I'm going to be at the parks, the weather, and what park I'll be going to mainly. At the Disneyland Resort there's two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. Disneyland's vibe is whimsical, magical, and crowded. California Adventure's vibe is classic, Pixar-themed, and laid back.
What I like to wear to the parks just depends, but the number one thing for me is being comfortable. I usually like wearing sneakers or sandals for footwear. If it's going to be a long day I'd prefer my most comfortable shoes, my Nike's or Adidas Superstars. I usually go to Disney on my birthday as well, so I like to dress up on my day too, but still keep it comfy. In the picture below on my AMAZING 21st birthday with my best friends, I wore a romper with comfy, brown strapped sandals.
I also like wearing Disney themed t-shirts that have my favorite characters or attractions on them. I like getting mine from the store Boxlunch that carry so many Disney goodies and Target does carry a good selection. Shopping online from shops that make their own Disney themed merchandise, like Whosits and Whatsits and Oh Yeah Apparel. Etsy has cute, unique merch too. I follow so many Disney inspired accounts on Instagram and they give me inspiration on what to wear to the parks! Throw some converses and shorts on and top off your outfit with a character inspired dad hat! Don't forget your sunscreen and pins!
One more thing, if you know you're going to a land for the majority of the day, like Cars Land, dress the part and sport a clothing item that fits their theme! I love Cars Land because I love the movie and the colorful buildings in the land look EXACTLY like the movie! IT'S AWESOME! If you're going to be spending time meeting Princesses at the Royal Hall in Fantasyland and hop on Dumbo The Flying Elephant Ride, then you should wear a Princess themed dress and matching Minnie Ears! You'll get compliments from your favorite Princess and you'll look the park. The color-scheme in Fantasyland is pastels, with brown and beige buildings. Of course, you gotta take a picture by Sleeping Beauty's pink and baby blue castle to complete your day!
Just have a fun time at the Disneyland parks because it can be a magical and fantastic with all the iconic attractions and characters there! My number one rule from this is to BE COMFORTABLE when going to Disney, you won't regret it! Have fun and thanks for reading. "
